Congratulations to the B99 Academy Team - Champions in the 2015 Hawaii International Cup tournament in Honolulu this past weekend.

A FRIENDLY SCRIMMAGE!

This past week our Mens U23 team and our BU18 team scrimmaged - it was a great experience for both teams!  Come watch the Mens U23 team play their final home game on Sunday, July 26th a Mira Mesa High School stadium field starting at 3:00 PM.

B98 ACADEMY AND B97 ACADEMY TEAMS ARE FINALISTS IN NATIONAL CUP!

It was an exciting day in Ventura, CA on Sunday, May 17th when both the Attack B98 and B97 Academy teams played in the finals of National Cup!  Each team overcame injury and adversity to make it to the Finals and RSF Attack could not be prouder of these fine young men and their awesome accomplishments throughout the season!

The Attack B98 Academy team, coached by Paul Dougherty, were undefeated through both Round 1 and Round 2 of National Cup.  They defeated Oxnard in the Round of 16; they beat the National Champions in the Quarterfinals; they won against their home-town rivals the Surf in the Semi-finals, finally to fall to WCFC in the championship game.  What an incredible run!

Attack B98 Academy Team with coach Paul Dougherty

The Attack B97 Academy team (Co-coached by Evan McNeley and Malcolm Tovey) had a bye into Round 1 and were undefeated through the second round.  They won in PK's against the HG Eagles in the Round of 16; defeated LA Galaxy Bakersfield in the Quarter finals; won again in PK's against DMS 11 in the Semi-finals, finally losing to Santa Barbara SC White (the reining back-to-back National Champions) in PK's 4-3.  It was a heart breaker, but both teams played a beautiful game of soccer!

CONGRATULATIONS COACH DARREN PARKER! B95 PREMIER ARE PRESIDENT'S DIVISION STATE CUP CHAMPS!

The Attack B95 team was crowned the President's Division State Cup Champion on Sunday, April 26 at the IE Surf Complex in San Bernardino, CA.  Along the way they battled teams from OC Premier, Surf Academy, CUFC - winning in the finals against Surf Academy in a tight game that went into overtime with Attack winning in PK's.  Congratulations Coach Darren Parker and all of the players on the B95 Premier team!

COACH BRYCE OSTROFF JOINS ATTACK!

Welcome to our newest addition to our coaching staff:  Bryce Ostroff.  Coach Ostroff has been coaching youth soccer for 5 years at the club, high school and community service level.  This is his second year with Attack where he is coaching a BU9, BU10 and a BU17 team and he is the Boy’s JV Coach at Canyon Crest Academy.  He has been a volunteer coach in Costa Rica and South Africa where he has used coaching to teach critical life skills and improve athletic abilities with children in these areas.  Bryce is a graduate of UCSD where he majored in Psychology.  He currently holds a USSF National “D” license.

Bryce assists each player to reach their fullest potential both on and off the field.  He encourages a competitive, positive environment that allows his players to have fun while achieving both individual and team goals.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GU9 GREEN TEAM - FINALISTS IN THE MAYORS DIVISION OF STATE CUP!

ATTACK BOYS U13 PREMIER WIN ALBION SC DEVELOPMENTAL SHOWCASE!

Coached by Nate Hetherington, the Rancho Santa Fe Attack Boys U13 Premier team won the Albion SC Developmental Showcase during the January 10-11 weekend.  After winning their bracket, the team advanced to the championship game, where they won 6-0.

KAITLYN PRUETT-PETERSON JOINS ATTACK!

Welcome to Attack’s newest coach Kaitlyn Pruett-Peterson. Kaitlyn will be coaching in our Younger Girls program and will be putting together teams in the U7, U8 and U10 age groups.

Kaitlyn grew up here in San Diego and played soccer for the San Diego Surf. She went on to play Division 1 Woman’s soccer at both the University of Southern California and the University of San Diego. She distinguished herself at both schools with honors such as: University of Southern California Freshman of the Year, University of San Diego Most Valuable Player, and Soccer Buzz All-American. She was also named to the First Team West Coast Conference, Soccer Buzz All-West Region First Team and NSCAA All-Far West Team.

She has coached at several clubs in the San Diego area over the last 4 years before bringing her talents to Attack. We are excited to have Kaitlyn as part of our coaching staff!
